This place is very unique. At lunch time, there's not a menu, they just start bringing your table (which you may be sharing with strangers) food - fried chicken, brisket, corn, potato salad, pea salad, yams, yellow squash, green beans, etc. It's a pretty fun way to do it, family-style, and definitely a different experience.
The food is just okay, though. The fried chicken is definitely the best part, but the majority of the sides (corn, green beans, yams) came straight out of a can. I was not super impressed with the food, and the service was pretty slow, too (although there were only 2 waitresses for the after-church rush, so it wasn't their fault).
Overall, worth a stop, if you like family-style meals, but don't expect greatness from the food.
