I've been here several times, mostly by myself. The restaurant itself is pretty plain jane, but the service and the food is outstanding.
This time I ordered the "seaweed salad, the Cha Soba noodles (cold noodles, simple but delish), Texas Ranger roll (my 1st time ordering and it was a AWESOME), Yakozza Roll, and the baked Miso Seabass. Yes, it's a lot but again I don't eat here that often so when I do I like to try as many items as I can.
The servers are very helpful if you need a recommendation. Always friendly. You can tell they have a "lunch following" because they offer some nice luncheon specials.
If you want a "truly Japanese meal with lots of options and selections" I would definitely tell you to RUN to this restaurant.
