Description: Print MenuIts namesake – the famed Cordúa Churrasco steak - sparked Houston’s Latin American revelation nearly 25 years ago, and the flame is still burning strong at Churrascos. The tantalizing menu mixes up native Latin ingredients with the unexpected for a culinary line-up that is as artful as it is delightful, including bacon-wrapped shrimp taquitos, ethereally light angel wings, bahia grilled chicken, yuca fries, and, of course, the award-winning Churrasco – voted one of the best 20 steaks in America by Esquire magazine. Signature items include the Churrasco, a charcoal-grilled center-cut beef tenderloin steak; Tres Leches dessert - vanilla cake laced with three sweet creams and topped with a light meringue and Cordua’s signature plantain chips and chimichurri are served on every table

We usually enjoy dining here before we attend a concert in Sugar Land. The waitstaff is always friendly and the menu has lots of variety to please everyone. The cost without drinks is usually about $25-$30 per person.

I've always wanted to try Churrascos. I've gone to "Veritas Restaurant" several times which is right next door. Churrascos menu is latin Spanish theme. George one of the bartenders is very attentive without being overbearing "in your face" kind of server. The mojito's are good, NOT AS GOOD as in Miami, FL, but for TX it's good. He is always polite about letting you know if you want it sweeter he can remix it. He will offer you "fried plantains chips with two types of sauce dips" (I am pretty sure they are purchased and not made in house). I really like the "carnitas plate" which is huge yum. You actually get two plates, one with the carnita's and one with the fried plantains, and extra side items, plus your tortillas. They offer monthly wine dinners, which seem like a good value but have never attended one when I lived there. There is an outside patio where you can have a drink, appetizer, meal (smoke a cigarette or cigar). Beautiful lake to look out at. I really don't think you would be disappointed in anything.

I took my family to brunch at Churrascos Steak & Seafood to celebrate my father-in-law's birthday. We had originally planned to go for dinner, but I'd heard the brunch was great, so we did that instead. They even have the buffet on Saturday at the Sugar Land location. Only Sunday elsewhere. If you've never been to Churrascos, it's a great way to try lots of things from the menu. The only problem is not being able to eat everything you want. The buffet is extensive and has all the favorites - the plantain chips and steak with chimichurri, shrimp, ceviche, empanadas, omelettes, waffles, carving and pasta stations, alfajores, tres leches, plus a ton of other delicious dishes. The cost is usually $29.95 per person. May differ on holidays.

Churrascos is one of my favorite restaurants. However, the past several times I've been to their SugarLand store has been a horrible experience. I'll go to their other locations for great food and service.

Sugar Land just has really bad service and they can't seem to correct that.

Churrascos has a very nice and reasonable Happy Hour menu every day of the week. We sat on the patio and the setting was nice, looking out on the lake and watching people kayak and paddle board while enjoying empenadas, guacamole, and cheese fondue. The service is excellent.
