Now we are a sea turtle hospital with a mission to rehabilitate and release any injured sea turtles, increase awareness concerning their safety and habitat, and assist with conservation efforts for all sea turtle species. We are funded by donations, grants and gift shop proceeds-- For rehabilitated sea turtle and hatchling release text message notifications, please see our website membership page. The new amphitheater, viewing tanks containing the permanent residents, gift shop, and indoor displays are very impressive. The presentation was well done, informative, concise, and not too long for the many little kids in attendance. Last time I visited Sea Turtle, Inc was when it was still in Ila Loetscher's house, and this organization has come a LONG way and is a MUST SEE for anyone visiting the Island.

A friend and I went here and it was a lot of fun. There are plaques that tell you the sea turtles names, their story about why they are there at the rescue, their rehabilitation plan and if they plan to re-release them to the sea. Fun for kids and adults

These people are miracle works. This is such an interesting place to visit. The turtles are very well cared for. It did make me very sad to see what happens to turtles when people throw their trash in the waterways. But the people who work her are saving these turtles. Thank you for your effortless work in rehabilitating these turtles.

some great survivors from the sea. These turtles have been through some struggles and have survived. The a Sea Turtle facility does a great job saving and rehabbing.

These beautiful turtles help you understand the ocean and our connection to it. You’ll never want to use a plastic straw again!
