Although, it's hard to get in. The line out the door often says it all. Their food is incredible, it's moderately priced and their service is quick. If you're lucky one of the guys may sing while he works too.

Cosa Nostra has moved down the street and is now named "Deno's". It is under the same owner, in fact Deno is the owner's name. He typically is the man that meets you at the door and hugs your neck when you leave. I recently had the "Rustic", which is a tortilenie, chicken, sun dried tomatoes, mushrooms, and cheesy dish that you can't get enough of. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are large enough for you to take some home for lunch the next day. When they were called Cosa Nostra the people typically waited in line out the door. So they moved into a larger building under a new name, but it is still true Italian food designed by a true Italian by the name of Deno.

Let's be honest, nobody comes to Texas for the Italian food, but if you live here, every once in a while you have to have it. I was not disappointed but I was not impressed either. The food is good Italian comfort food for a general geographic area that typically doesn't do Italian well. And I felt the prices were very reasonable especially if you BYOB. Bringing your own wine is always a plus for me.

We eat here once a week. Love the intimacy of a small restaurant. I'm very picky with my steak and Bennie prepares it perfectly every time.

The classic pasta is amazing. I wouldn't add one ingredient!
