Great place to stay. Room was very nice and clean. Bed was very comfortable. Loved the airplane motife. Our room was decorated with the p-38 lightning. Centrally located. Close to restaurants and shopping. Only a few minutes drive to the beach.

Excellent location. Continental breakfast is better than some reviewers have reported. Perhaps those reviewers sat in the car during check-in time and they were disappointed with what their mates selected for them at check-in time. You choose your breakfast items at check-in and the next morning at 7 am they are left on your stoop. Muffins and croissants are fresh and large. Room is clean and the various aviation themes add charm. Our mattress was so soft some sleeping positions bowed my back uncomfortably. The AC may need Freon or something. It worked, but the air wasn’t very cool, even when I adjusted thermostat. The pool is nice, especially for families with small children, because it has an adorable aviation themed float with attached squirt gun. I was pleased to even find a room in good condition, though, during Sandfest and months after the hurricane.

My wife and I wanted a quick trip to the beach before the Spring Breakers arrived and found a good deal at Amelia's Landing with it's airplane themed décor. Good location, nice people and clean rooms. I would definitely recommend.

With all the devastation that has taken place from Hurricane Harvey, Port A has truly come together as a family. And with this, Amelia's has def taken it a step further to allow for those who lost their homes, to stay in their rooms.
Amelia's was affected and has been in the middle of remodeling...but has still gone above and beyond to accommodate as best as possible!
If you stayed here before the hurricane, just wait until you see the newly remodeled rooms and such...WOW!
Jay and his wife have truly out done themselves and so have the crew to help get Amelia's back to "Flying High" status!
Whether you are a family or a couple...or friends coming to enjoy the beach for spring break, Amelia's will not disappoint!!!

Room tip: Any of them...especially since they have been updated and remodeled!

I loved the airplane themed room! It's not a new hotel with a lot of bells & whistles but it is cozy and has character. Although cold by son insisted on getting in the pool, it was not 'heated' enough for me, but my son was insistent; we definitely did take advantage of the hot tub under the cabana like area after the cold pool. They provide a breakfast basket with milk, juice and baked goodies... my 5 y/o was excited to receive a 'gift'. Overall, it was a great experience!
