We met some friends (7 of us)for dinner and were worried about the wait because it was packed! We grabbed a seat at the bar and ordered some drinks. I had a grapefruit martini and it was yummy, cold and slushy which was nice after a day on the beach. My son ordered a mango mojito and it was fabulous. We hadn't even finished our drinks before we were called to our table. Our server was patient and gave great descriptions of the dishes we asked about. I had the coconut shrimp which were good. I tasted the grilled scallops and was impressed. They had a great texture and were perfectly seasoned. Everyone at the table enjoyed their meal. We did go to the soup and salad bar and were pleased. It was clean, well stocked and fresh. We had a butterfinger cheesecake and a white chocolate raspberry cheesecake. The white chocolate was our favorite but it didn't have a crust.

We ate a late lunch at 1:30 and it took over an hour before we finished. I do not understand restaurants that expect their waitstaff to bus tables, refill glasses, etc. Assigning too many tables and expecting the waitstaff to do everything is unrealistic, The food was only average and the salad bar while very popular truly was only okay.

If you are looking for really good food this is the place. We ate here for dinner with a large party. They were very nice and seated us rather quickly. Our waitress was very nice and informative of the menu. She was also very good at taking care of large parties. I think the soup and salad bar comes with all meals. It was a basic salad bar with warm bread but it was fresh and crisp and good. The soup of the day was cream of spinach and was absolutely delicious! If I had known how good it was I would have been happy with just the soup and salad bar. We ordered a variety of things on the menu. The seafood feast was the best by far. It is more than enough for two people. The fried fish and the crab cake were unbelievably good. Funny part of the story: the waitress told us not to order the spaghetti but a couple of people still ordered it. She was right. It was not good. She graciously took it off our bill even though she told them not to order it. This place is not cheap but it is worth the splurge.

I went to this when it was the old version many years ago, then it was needing allot of maintenance and service was slow . Fast forward to now where it has been rebuilt, service is good, and overall food was great! Great job on the redo!
