Interesting arboretum: a wonderful selection a works of arts tucked away in nicely kept garden. Great for a short stroll or just to ponder on one of the many benches.

Wonderful natural retreat; a great walk joined by an adorable wooden footbridge to the Mize Azalea Garden (which got five stars from me because when it's in bloom? Oh my God). As you walk, enjoy the great exhibit of public art provided by Sculpture For All. I think the best one--a truly great sculpture IMHO--may be in the Arboretum rather than the Azalea Garden. Anyway, do it: for an hour of calm, natural, restorative beauty, you can't do much better.

What a fabulous way to spend an afternoon! So many photo opportunities too. We missed the Azalea and Camellia blooming season by weeks however the foliage was still quite colorful. This is an easy walk and perfect for any age.

Very nice area with plenty of walking trails and places to sit to enjoy the beauty, relax or reflect. Plenty of scenic spots for pictures. There is a "tunnel" formed from cedar trees that have grown up and bent over the path from both sides. Very cool! There are some places in there that need some upkeep (i.e. behive). I was not there at the best time to see the full beauty but could see the potential of what was not in bloom and enjoyed what was. I would recommend a stroll.

We walked this trail during our visit here in Nacogdoches. The landscape was so amazing, and beautiful sculptures thru out the park. Our favorite thing was the Arboretum of trees was so amazing.
