This hotel is outstanding and to be honest I can not find any faults at all so here is my review: First of all every member of staff is so attentive and professional, I have to give a special mention to Rafael the restaurant Manager who ran it like a military operation. I like to stay in nice hotels but have never been to a hotel before where your breakfast is cooked to order. We had an evening meal and it was of the highest quality.
The room that we had was the deluxe room and it was very large and the decor was of the highest standard, it even had luxury sunbeds on the large balcony. The room was keep spotless and the queen size bed was very comfortable.
The grounds of the hotel are really nice and kept in excellent order, unlike other 5 star hotels that we have stayed at there is no need to get up at the crack of dawn to secure sunbeds as there is plenty.
The location of this hotel really suited us as it is very quiet and a couple of euro taxi ride will get you to Las Americas itself or Siam Park/Shopping Outlet.
Summary: If you want to be totally spoilt and made to feel special I recommend this excellent hotel without hesitation.

If i could give four and a half stars, i would, as this is a gem of a hotel, beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean, lovely food, great service in the restaurant and front desk. I have not been so generous because of three issues- there are a couple of elements which let down the efforts of the team, firstly, whilst we appreciate the evening turndown service, why did the maid always arrive when we were In the shower.? Secondly the younger pool attendant is, quite frankly, lazy. He needs some training, and undermines the efforts of others, though the service generally around the pool can be erratic. My biggest gripe however is the fact which while We are all trying to enjoy the peace and tranquility, the staff chat in the loudest voices amongst themselves - particularly bad around the pool again, and equally in the restaurant

Dear Guest,

we want to thank you your feed back.

There is always spring in Tenerife coast so that's the reason why you can also
stay either in winter or in summer. The difference is that summer is not so busy
and the hotel staff can spend more time helping our distinguished client.

Hoping to welcome you in the future
Kind regards

My partner and I just returned from Las Madrigueras following a 7 night stay. We wanted somewhere to get away from it all and to treat ourselves to some luxury. Las Madrigueras delivered on both fronts, and so much more. So if that’s what you’re looking for this is the hotel for you.

The surroundings and grounds of the hotel are stunning, which it’s hard to do justice to in photos. Whilst a bit away from the main strip of Playa de las Americas it’s only a 10min taxi ride to get to the heart of everything (costing between 5 and 8 Euros depending on the time of day). There’s a taxi rank just outside the hotel and cars available at all times of the day so this was never an issue for us. It’s hard to believe somewhere so peaceful is that near to a much busier area. Other reviews have used the terms ‘paradise’ and ‘oasis’ which are words that are also at the forefront of my mind when trying to describe this hotel.

All the staff who dealt with us at the hotel were friendly and helpful, nothing felt like too much trouble. As it’s a relatively small hotel you start to recognise people quite quickly (both staff and other guests) which we really liked. It’s not something I’ve tended to experience at bigger, more commercial hotels I’ve stayed in. It made us feel very welcomed. On our last day we were flying home later than originally planned and the hotel let us keep our room until we left rather than us having to check out at the normal time, which we really appreciated (this was free of charge). They also helped us try to sort out an issue with our transfer to the airport (booked as part of a package). Again nothing felt like too much trouble.

The room itself was gorgeous (we had a superior suite which I believe is the most basic of the rooms Las Madrigueras offers). It felt anything but basic though. Whilst luxurious it had little touches to make it feel homely, e.g. flowers and fruit. We particularly enjoyed chocolates being left for us every night (which were delicious!). It’s not something I’ve had at equivalent hotels I’ve stayed in and was a lovely touch. The bed was massive and really comfortable. There was lots of space in the room in general, including plenty of storage for my various holiday outfits! The room also had basic tea and coffee making facilities and a mini bar (which wasn’t ridiculously priced), as well as a good sized bathroom with a separate toilet which was convenient. We particularly loved the balcony and being able to sit out there at night and enjoy the warm Tenerife climate.

For our stay we opted for bed and breakfast as we wanted the flexibility to go and try different food with the nearby strip offering so much variety. The hotel has one restaurant (The Bogey Restaurant), which serves a day and night menu. We had food from both and everything we ate was of a very good standard. It’s worth noting the night service in the restaurant is a bit more formal and you have to dress accordingly (e.g. long trousers). We were happy to do this though and make an occasion of our meal there, having a lovely dinner on the terrace overlooking the pool on the first night of our stay. The breakfast which was included in our package consisted of a cold buffet and you could also choose hot items off a separate menu, such as various types of eggs, pancakes, crepes and a lovely Spanish omelette my partner had on our last day. The cold buffet offers a good choice of food, including cold meats, cheeses, various types of bread, pastries and cakes (which varied every day much to my excitement), cereals and a selection of fruit and juices. We definitely never got bored. The orange juice we were offered at the start of each breakfast was gorgeous (this was served by the staff rather than being out as part of the buffet).

Unfortunately we didn’t spend loads of time at the hotel during the day as we had other things planned for our stay. And the hotel is advertised as a golf hotel and neither of us plays. The theme is loosely based on this but not over the top. I did wonder whether it would be before we arrived. We did spend one morning/afternoon by the pool which was thoroughly enjoyable. There’s not loads of loungers but it was never busy. I feel this is one advantage of the hotel being for over 16’s as most of the guests were older couples. The pool itself is a decent size and they have a separate warmer pool next to the main one. There’s also a bar down by the pool where staff come and get your drinks orders from, serving drinks to you poolside. Again we felt very well looked after.

I also used the spa at the hotel on our first day and had a lovely massage and facial (this cost 120 Euros on total). Whilst not cheap it was a lovely treat after a long journey. The spa itself is quite small (as is the gym which is in the same building). It consists of one large room with a jacuzzi and plunge pool, as well as a steam room and sauna (from recollection). I didn’t use any of these facilities though. The treatments are done in a separate room up the stairs from the main spa.

It really was hard to leave and go back to normality after what was a thoroughly enjoyable stay. Pure escapism, we really hope to return in the near future. Thank you again Las Madrigueras!

Well what a wonderful find this is. Up above Los Christianos and nestled between a large resort and wasteland sits this perfect hotel.
Adults only and next to Las Americas golf course it ticked all the boxes for us. Bedrooms are very spacious with huge balconies that included the most comfortable loungers.
Food was outstanding. We were on an Eagle package that included daily golf and 3 dinners. The meals were quite outstanding.
Staff are really friendly & attentive.
Golf is great here. Just take the lift to the basement, pick any buggy and you’re away onto the course within minutes! Good challenging course and although can be very busy it’s in great condition.
Pool is perfect, good loungers, lots of parasols and a bar.
Would love to return again one day
