The restaurant is in a quiet location, but just off the main strip in Las Americas. We ordered poppadoms to start, but were disappointed to receive small grilled poppadoms instead of the type we get in Indian restaurants at home. The poppadoms they served us can be bought in any Indian shop in the UK for less than a pound for a pack of 20 and are half the size of normal poppadoms, and were hard (uncooked) in places. Not a very good start - and from this, we didn't expect much from the main meal either. But never judge a meal by it's starter!
For our main meal we ordered a vegetable pathia and a vegetable madras, with rice and a peshwari naan on the side.
The naan was big, fluffy, and full of coconut - delicious! The pathia was slightly sourer than I would have expected (a pathia should be hot, sweet and sour), but was not any worse for it - I scraped the bowl.
The madras was also delicious, and the rice was perfectly cooked. Serving sizes were generous.
Staff were friendly and helpful, and the restaurant is exceptionally clean. It was a pleasure to dine there.
Just don't order the poppadoms!
