Arrived 1.00 pm and met by the owner Sabine who gave us the keys and showed us around the apartment. First impression was how clean and immaculate everything was. The apartment has recently been updated to a high standard. There was everything you would need for day to day living down to washing powder, tea towels, dish washer tablets. Fully equipped kitchen, only negative in kitchen was no kettle, was told this was because of electrical overload problems.. But we managed by boiling a pan on the stove. Lovely views from balcony of pool and mountains, got sun from 2.00 pm onwards. Beds upstairs not as comfortable as the ones downstairs so we slept downstairs. Great showers. Would definitely book again.
Flat was lovely well kept was told wifi was good well it was crap could never get it ended up hiring wifi from downstairs reception at a cost of £45 to keep my kids happy Was never told about hiring cost of sunbeds at pool area at a cost of 23.50 euros a day for 4beds and umbrella this is a hidden cost you don't get told when booking Then to find out pool water was pumped from the sea and was pure salt water another thing not told if I knew this when booking would have giving it a miss and gone elsewhere
Having stayed in probably 9 or 10 apartments in this complex over the years this is probably the best we've stayed in. Very clean and modern with just about everything you need in it. It's on the top floor so you get a great view of the pool area and also the sea looking out to La Gomera. It's a one end so is right next to the stairs to get down to the pool (64 steps, we know this as my daughter counted them every time we went up them). Pool area is lovely but bear in mind sunbeds need to be paid for at 3.50 each per day.
It is advertised as 2 bedroom but there is actually a small third bedroom upstairs with a double bed in it which was a bonus, ideal for a child. Theres a dishwasher (with tablets to use) and a washing machine (with washing powder) which was very handy.
The only negative thing I would say is there is no air conditioning like the majority of these apartments in the parque santiagos. We had arranged to hire a stand alone unit (from henry at the holiday hire shop who were excellent btw) but when it came there was no where suitable to vent the hot air out of so we just had to hire fans from him which helped on a night time but air con would be much better especially in summer.
Sabine dealt with our booking and was very helpful all along the way and even met us upon arrival. We would definitely stay in this apartment again. Highly recommended.
