We booked a table and pre ordered the lamb for four of us on a Saturday evening. The restaurant was fully booked when we arrived. The staff are extremely friendly and efficient. The lamb comes with a good bottle of house wine, salad or veg, chips and gravy which is its only downfall, we would prefer thick gravy as this is far too watery. But the lamb is so tender and I can see why it’s their signature dish plus it’s very reasonable. Save room for dessert, can highly recommend the banoffee cheesecake!
We’ve been coming here for years and although it caters for a much older clientele, it has a nice relaxed atmosphere.
