Great food, party atmosphere and good wine choice. Good for all ages. If you want to spoil yourselves with a cocktail, also good

We ate here once whilst in Avoriaz. Whilst slightly further down the mountain and a little more expensive it is certainly worth a visit for a something a bit different. It's more fine dining and the food was very good although I'd say on par with some others we had on the trip. The atmosphere and service was what made it stand out for us. Also there is live music later in the evening. We left around 8:30 and found this was fine for our 8 year old daughter. Very child friendly although more formal than other restaurants. I suspect it wouldn't be suitable later at night when the bar opens. We felt very well looked after and would visit again.
As with all places in Avoriaz at half term and other busy holidays - book a couple of days in advance.

With the visit. One of the few good experiences in Avoriaz. The food is above the local standards (which are very low, BTW), staff is pleasant, uncommon in Avoriaz, and the music is excellent. Worth the visit.

We had planned to meet friends to go bowling later in the evening and so were trying to find somewhere to eat at approx 18:30, we hadn't realised that lots of the restaurants in Avoriaz only start serving dinner at 7pm.

We asked for a table in La Cabane and were told they could accommodate us at 7pm, so decided to stay and wait for the restaurant to open.

This is a really nice, trendy bar and restaurant playing a good mix of British 80's music and lots of other random things.

The food was posher than we had found at other Avoriaz restaurants, especially as I was anticipating another mountain restaurant, but the food was delicious. I had the crispy chicken which had a fine bread crumb coating and came with a spicy jus and the most amazing fluffy and crispy French frie curls. Yummy! My husband had the lamb, which he said was nice too and came with a flavoured mash.

Would recommend to eat here or just go for a drink but be aware that it's a bit posher than the other restaurants.
