This Resort Hotel is one of the best in Bali. Facilities are complete and clean! Rooms are great as the veranda overlooks the pool. They have a restaurant that offers great Balinese food. At night, they have a Balinese folk presentation in front of the restaurant. They also have a coffee and pastry shop.

Perfect situated Hotel Resort in a quiet street. This property is laid back about 60 metres from the sea, with inviting large swimming pool, pool bar, restaurants, coffee shop and of course the 5 star Tea Tree Spa.
The Front office staff and Reception very friendly, will help you with any queries you might have.
The rooms are nicely furnished with sufficient furniture, safe, minibar, tea and coffee making facilities, wardrobe ,power points and decent size bathrooms.
Breakfast is taken in the Palms Restaurant, where there is a very good selection of different choices of food.
Their other restaurant, ENVY, is located in a lovely setting overlooking the beach. Highly recommended for their various high class dishes.
Security is well controlled at this resort and staff are very friendly. Definitely a place to visit again

Dear UKNorseman

Greetings from the island of the Gods and a thousand temples!

What can I say when 'thank you' doesn't quite seem enough but anything more seems to lack sincerity :)

Thank you for taking the time to post your review on Tripadvisor and thank you for tipping your hat to us and for recommending Holiday Inn Resort Baruna Bali to future guests. I am glad that you enjoyed your stay with us.

I'll start by stating the specialities of the resort- the first being the spacious family suite where we stayed in. We were 3 adults with 1 kid and the room provided us with one king size bed, 1 sofa cum bed, 1 single bed and still the suite had enough room left for other furniture. The pleasant suprise was the separate dressing room. So the room was one of the largest in Bali.
2. Secondly, the Breakfast had ample choice plus some Indian options too. The Indian food sometimes was not that good. But getting Indian food in foreign land seems a blessing.
3. The property is right next to the beach. So we could have the enriching experience of cycling by the beach in that cool air.
4. Its very near to airport and also there are many places to shop and eat. We even managed to find vegetarian Indian food( that too tasty). But being near to airport means that for every sightseeing tour, the travelling time would itself comsume half of your day.

Overall I would recommend Holiday Inn Resort since in a place like Bali where there is not much for sightseeing, so its better to relax and enjoy after booking a 5-star resort which is affordable too.

Stayed at this resort due to location, price & kids club. Was not the best first impression when no-one came to greet us or help us with our bags on arrival however check in staff were efficient & friendly. The garden access room was great as no steps involved & can walk right outside. Nice large pool with lots of chairs around it. Pool menu could be bigger but better than nothing. Daiquiris also could have been much better as we came from another resort in Nusa Dua and their Daiquiris were amazing! Lastly very disappointed at the cost of kids club - cost was not promoted online so I had to pay 50,000 ($5) per hour per child & then as my youngest was 2 I had to also pay for a baby sitter $6.50 per hour - total $16.50 per hour. I was happy to pay for the baby sitter but the total cost adds up after paying resort fees even if I did not have them in kids club a lot. I also know kids club is free when you have a suite room but it is an extra $100+ per night for that type of room. Also there is an extra cost for the "good" kids club activities of $10 which would be fine if kids club was free but on top of everything else was too much. My 5 year old son did find it a bit boring after a bit as we didn't pay the extra $10 for the good activities (kite making, mask making etc) he was able to play with toys & take part in some games.). Overall would consider staying there again but a free kids club would be more enticing. We attended a "thank the staff" cocktail party which was nice as we got to meet the staff and they were all very friendly.

Room tip: kids club, gym, garden access, pool

Overall a good hotel. I feel the photos online on booking.com is much more prettier than the actual lobby of the resort but rest of resort is beautiful. Has a lot of entertainment and very close to restaurants, massage places and bars
