We really enjoyed our 4 days stay at the hotel. The position and the services are impeccable. Breakfast is rich, fresh and delicious. We had lunch at the restaurant twice and everything was cooked with love and care. The beach is open also to the public, which makes it a bit crowded during the weekend but the personnel's care and attention are doubled during these days, making everything possible to please the guests.
The room is comfortable and the view on the sunset priceless.
We only regret the shortness of our stay. We'll surely come back.

We stayed at this hotel for our annual family vacation (with grandparents and young children) for the second time and I have to say that it is a great hotel, one I would definitely recommend. It has easy access from Athens, since it is only a 40 minutes drive away. The beach, with crystal clear water, is right in front of the hotel and the sunbeds are complimentary for hotel guests. We stayed at a groundfloor room, which made it even more easy to go back and forth from the beach to the room (people with young children should appreciate this). The breakfast is very rich in variety. The restaurant has a great standard menu plus you get 3 or 4 daily dishes. The two nearby tavernas are a plus and Lavrio is only a 10 minutes drive away (there is even an open air movie theatre there). The rooms are very spacious and clean and have great view of the sea and the temple. The bathrooms are luxurious. There is even a playground for young children (a big hit with mine!). But the most important thing of all, in my view, is the hotel staff : friendly, always with a smile and eager to accomodate! Well done, Aegeon Hotel!! Thank you for your hospitality, we'll definitely see you next year!

Very good hotel with great service and located close to 2 tavernas.

We ate at the hotel restaurant 1 night and a local taverna the next. The hotel restaurant was much better than the other. Yes a bit dearer than usual but so was the taverna. Both had temple views. Good sized tasty meals at the hotel.

Breakfast was good - not exceptional. Served in the restaurant with temple views.

Hotel is Right on the beach and reception will give you beach towels to use.

Note that there is nothing here at sounio/the temple - no shops no banking cash machines etc - is probably a 10 minute drive into closest town Lavio where everything was available.

Room overlooked the beach - do not expect a temple view as only 6 out of 45 have this aspect. Recommend to stay and nice and relaxing.

I stayed here for only one night but wish I had stayed longer. Beautiful and stunning views and site. The hotel was clean and modern and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Good for all ages, singles, couples and families too. Would definitely stay again. Highly recommended!

We choose the Aegeon because of its distant from the airport : the hotel is 50 minutes drive from the airport.
The plus :
- located on the beach
- very nice view
- good breakfast, can be taken on the terrace overlooking the bay
- close to the airport
- room with balcony overlooking the bay

But :
- it's isolated, no walking possibility, the closest shop is 10 minutes drive
- hotel's architecture is quiet ugly (all in brown, long & hot corridors leading to rooms, strange entrance and lobby)
- at the evening, we had to leave the balcony and close doors being attacked by mosquitos
- the hotel is expensive comparing

There are two restaurants next to the hotel, but you can find better 5 minutes drive turning left to the hotel.

Room Tip: choose the highest floors for the best view
