Used call ahead seating. Called the restaurant and placed my request at about 4:30 pm on Father's day. Arrived about 30 minutes later. Checked in and was seated in about 8 minutes. ( I was told that we might have a few minutes to wait after check-in).
We had the restaurants training manager as our server. She was very attentive and made and kept eye contact during all of our visit.
The steaks ( sirloin ) we're cook perfecly, but we're under seasoned. The addition of mushrooms and onions did make up for the under seasoning.
Also had shrimp with one steak and they were perfect.
Kids had fried catfish and cheese burger. They prefer the fish and burgers at another restaurant, but were satisfied with the food.
The Roadhouse ( as always ) is loud and tinny sounding and was more so today. This is to be expected due to how busy it was.
The staff was very busy and they were on point with their service.
Only visit two or three times a year. Will go back soon.

This place was loud but it always is so no surprise there. We called ahead and were told there would still be a small wait. Being Father's Day, a 10 minute wait is not anything to complain about. Our waitress was the wait staff trainer and she definitely earned that title. She didn't miss anything!

One tiny complaint is that our salads came out within seconds of the appetizer, but the entrees were perfectly paced.

I got the 6 oz sirloin. It was cooked exactly as ordered but was a bit skimpy on the seasoning. Not normal for TR...must be due to the holiday. One son said his burger was ok but the bacon on it was over cooked. He ate it though so it must not have been too bad. The other son said his fried catfish was also ok, not as good as a local fish restaurant, but he said we were at a steakhouse after all. Both of them LOVED the rolls and cinnamon butter!

I tasted my husband's chili. WOW! Fantastic! Great sweet tea...sweet but not too sweet. Salad was fresh and the honey French dressing is a new favorite.

We'll be back, preferably during an off peak time.

Best eating is Texas Roadhouse, Waffle House, and close by is Little Mexico for enchiladas made with CORN tortillas. Lots of good eating on Loop 281.

We happened to go on prom night so it was very busy. We had a party of 8 and was still seated in a reasonable time, separate tables next to each other. We didn't mind we just wanted a few beers and a steak. Steaks were cooked to order and not over cooked. Friendly server and made sure we were taken care of despite being so busy. All in all good Texas Roadhouse.

All I'm a say is THE ROLLS & BUTTER! You'll get full off just that & a nice drink to finish the night! Great kids meal! When I do order food it's fantastic.
