Check-in was easy and the staff was wonderful. The hotel is showing it's age and it's close to the Galleria which is wonderful, but where the hotel is located, traffic is a nightmare. Also, in order to get to the gym, you have to leave the building. The gym is a stand alone building next to the pool.

The staff is very efficient, all really friendly and professional! But honestly for 200 USD night even if it is Houston I would have expected something more. All is there the room are big but bit old, it is clear that the Hotel to keep the standing must be renewed, bathrooms, carpets stf are showing the age they have. And 22 USD for the parking is really to much considering other hotels are offering it for free. I will look for alternatives at same price and category.

Hello GlucaFst, thank you for being our guest and for the review. We are happy to hear you found the staff to be friendly and professional. We regret you were not completely satisfied with the hotel. We continue to make facility improvements - most recently an all-new fitness center.

I had the most amazing front end person - Chris. He could not have been more personable, helpful, sweet...and a wickedly dry sense of humor. Actually remembered my name throughout the entire stay. Marta, the bartender in the WildPlum Lounge was quite sweet. Rooms were fine, bedding, as usual, very comfortable. They need to have a few more outlets, though. Club Lounge was less than adequate. Hors d'oeuvres were really sad looking and tasting. Proper utensils weren't in place...needed to ask. We didn't go back our second night, but went to the lounge in the lobby instead. They offered a happy hour - why wasn't there one in the lounge which is pay as you go for liquor and, because of happy hour pricing downstairs, triple the price for a glass of the house wine. Breakfast was average, truly not impressive food. We also never saw a Club Manager. Parking rates are ridiculous - truly didn't know you had to pay. We have been staying at the Westin across the street in the Galleria - no parking fees. Would probably not go back. The only thing going for this hotel is the personnel - again, specifically, Chris and Marta and the ability to spread out in the room

Stayed here for 6 nights on business. The room was a good size, with a distinct separation between living and bed room. The bed was quite comfortable. The breakfast was a little expensive and not really worth it, but besides that everything was good.

The location is good as the hotel is located within the walking distance from the Galleria Mall and is surrounded with many fine restaurants.

Extraordinary service from all the personnel. Especially Michael at front desk. Alway trying to help. Good installations a little bit far from the rest at Galleria. But for dose who loves to walk is fine.
