Dinner with a friend. The food was awesome. Tres Leche cake was flambéd -did I spell that correctly? Lol. The experience was nice. I’d never seen this before. Service was awesome with a personal visit from the manager. Thanks for a wonderful evening.

Thank CRodden

Churrascos has been one of our favorites for many years now. We have celebrated quite a few times here. Their service is usually top notch, and if it isn't they will take care of it. We love the food and the atmosphere. Our favorite dish is the churrasco. I recommend going for a Sunday brunch were you get to try quite a large selection of dishes.

There were very few people that we could see attending the wine dinner. Sad! That being said, it has its ups and downs. The wine was from Spain, a well, known bodega, Marqués de Cáceres. The pairings were what made it interesting. We started with a salad and shrimp paired with a Verdejo. It worked. The next course was pork flautas with black bean sauce. That was a better pairing with the wine. I loved the new world paired with the old here. We progressed to paella. The menu said ¨saffron and chorizo infused¨ rice and that's what it was. My husband found a 1-4 inch piece of chorizo on his plate. I gave him some of mine. While the wine was good, the paella didn´t measure up. The fourth course was beef petite filet with a fig gastrique. The gastrique ruined the beef. It was too sweet. Had the chef left it off, it would have been a winner. Again the wine was excellent. The dessert was fine, tres leches. Just not Spanish

While we were there, the server gave us the menu for the next wine dinner: The first course is shrimp, followed by quail, then pork and then beef fillet. The wine is from Argentina, but the dessert will be Oaxacan Cheese cake. Coeone, people, serve alfajores. You can get excellent ones at Manena’s Pastry Shop and Deli, 11018 Westheimer Rd., Houston, TX 77042

Celebrated my birthday here with friends. Its a beautiful restaurant, I would just prefer the lights to be dimmed more.

Had pre dinner drinks in the bar, very charming bartender and loved the complimentary plantain chips served with a magnificent chimichurri sauce.

Table shared an appetizer trio of empanadas, crab fingers and pork carnitas. The crab fingers had an amazing smoked flavor and was my favorite appetizer. Empanadas were crisp and flavorful, carnitas had a delicious tomatillo sauce.

Our table enjoyed a very tender fillet steak, served with that same chimichurri sauce, the plantain encrusted shrimp and the flight of three ceviches . Everything was fresh and very flavorful.

We received a complimentary birthday Tres Leches, very moist and a perfect ending to a delicious meal.
