I'm not buying the self- proclaimed hype that this is the #1 children's museum in the country. I've been to many and while there were some nice hands-on exhibits, there was an abundance of playground-type structures (e.g., climbing wall, water features, etc.) to keep kids happy--not necessarily intellectually stimulated.

We took 5 boys ranging from 8 to 4 years old to the museum during our recent spring break. Thanks to our city pass we avoided the lines and got right in. This is by far the best kids museum i have visited. There is so much to do for all ages. The most popular exhibits with our boys were Kidtropolis and Flow Works. Flow Works is mainly outdoors. I would recommend visiting that exhibit last b/c this is a water activity. Bring a change of clothes for the ride home! After a day spent here your little ones are sure to be very happy but very tired!

My 3-year-old grandson loves this museum. Only drawback - the play area for toddlers is for 2 and under. He was barely 3 on his last visit and didn't understand why he couldn't go in. But he still enjoyed many of the other exhibits.

Full of fun activities but not suitable for age 13 and up. Our teenager said it's so babish but we had hard time to pull other kids (6-9) out.

We have been going to this museaum for 15 years. I have seen it grow and improve and evertime we go, we always enjoy ourselves. My oldest is no 15 years old and he still loves this place. You can easily spend a whole day here.
