The area is not the best. Near the airport which is a plus. You really need a car though. I were about to go to downtown around 6 pm in the evening when the reception guy told us it would be unsafe to go at this time. We were quite surprised to hear that but did not venture out. Would not return to this hotel if we dont have our own car.

The hotel looked clean from the outside, but the room was pretty horrible. The Air Conditioner made enough noise to wake the dead. Half of the lights didn't work, and the light next to the bed was rewired so that there was no switch. The only way to make it work was to plug it in, unplug it to turn it off. The TV was a flat screen, but the satellite reception was fuzzy and poor.

Issues: 1)Door lock nonfunctional. Had to rely on flip privacy bar and desk chair wedged under handle. 2) Filth. Large balls of hair accumulated on horribly dirty carpet; poorly replaced tile bathroom - missing grout, unswept, exposed sharp jagged cut tile edges on walls; transition bathroom to hall missing (multiple exposed nails on uncovered tackbar now prob need tetanus shot. 3)Dangerous wiring/fire hazard: 1 switch just inside room controls EVERY OUTLET, so also cuts off refrig TV lamps phone alarm. Bathroom light switch hidden in alcove INSIDE BATHROOM BEHIND BATHROOM DOOR on hinge side: must enter far unfamiliar bathroom, close door, grope for switch in pitch darkness. Rediculous.. Hazardous...couldn't possibly have passed an electrical inspection. 4)Front desk personnel always missing. Phone to front desk remained unanswered for over 15 min on multiple occasions before giving up in frustration. They undoubtably avoid answering in fear if fielding constant guest complaints. 5) located directly adjacent to gas station/truck stop. Idling semi-trucks and reefer units cycling on/off thru night vibrating window glass, room door, and walls.6) Prostitutes and transients lurking in parking area. 7) Missing security cameras [empty mounting brackets exposed wiring hanging down] enables and encourages #6 above.
