Wow, these cats know sausage. We dropped in for the pork sandwich on Friday and carted off a bunch of sausage and brats. For lunch we had the pork sammie with the hot BBQ sauce and it was delish, but had me sweating after the first couple of bites. You need to know though that it don’t take much heat to get me sweating around the head, eyes, and neck. The Secretary of the Interior, however, didn’t break a drop of sweat. She’s a bad ‘un.

So far we’ve had the Peach and Habanero breakfast link and the Summer Brat. Both are spectacular.

FYI. I read that they do not serve alkyhol. But as there are Lone Star signs all around I asked. They don’t sell. But if you ask politely they’ll give ya one. Pretty cool.

Can’t wait to get back and try a bunch more of their sausages and brats.

These folks got it goin’ on.

Thank Dale S

What a great little place! Found it on Trip Advisor. We had the chicken salad sandwich and the Ruben. Both were delicious. My husband said it was the best chicken salad he's ever had. We topped it off with their Texas Sweetie pie, pecan-coconut pie, yummie! They recommend heating it and they were right, but I bet it's just as good cold. Plus the staff could not be nicer and made you feel right at home. Don't miss this little gem!

This place is outstanding. Great good. Great service. Small, cozy. Holds around 10-12 people tops but the food is super good. Try the bison burgers or the pork butt sandwich. Seriously, its Grrrrrrreat !

Super clean, inviting Deli with really good quality meats and sides. I had the heated ham and baby swiss on rye bread with the Wenzel specialty mustard, along with a side of crunchy slaw. He had potato salad and a corn beef sandwich. It was a nice to drive a block away from 281 near the square and have a good meal. The real deal. Not franchised. Cool.

What a fun place. Good old-fashioned Meat Market. The food was delicious. And the staff was extremely helpful and friendly.
