Husband and I stayed mid week for 1 night. We got a great rate, were given a king, ocean view room with balcony. Super clean room and bathroom. Very comfortable. The heated pool is wonderful. We took a night swim under the beautiful super moon! The fire pit area is nice also with comfortable seating. Only draw back was, we were unable to sit and enjoy the fire long due to another guest chain smoking cigarettes, then on to a nasty smelling cigar! These areas should be smoke free! Employees were wonderful during check in and check out! It was a very enjoyable stay! Would recommend to anyone!

We celebrated our anniversary and found the room to be clean, very well maintained (looks very new) and the staff were efficient and friendly. The pool and exercise room were in great condition. There's a limited menu restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Other items can be purchased throughout the day.

Our room was quiet and had a good view of the gulf across the street. We wanted to be away from most attractions. If you want to be in the heart of the city, by the Strand, it's a five mile ride or drive.

Room Tip: We asked for and received a gulf side room. I thought the room was well laid out.

Property is nice and room was fine. On downside, check in was not typical friendly staff. Clerk said very little. Typical checkin for elite members, you are given a water or item from bistro or snacks, not here. Upon waking up first morning, discovered we only had one regular coffee pod and one decaf. Called housekeeping and was told they would bring some regular coffee pods right up. This was at 7 am, finally left at 8 without the coffee. Upon return at 3:45, not only had housekeeping still not arrived with coffee, they hadn't yet arrived to make up room. They finally showed up at 4:10 so my afternoon nap was interrupted so they could make up the room.

Staff definitely is not representative of Marriotts I have stayed in before.

Beautiful hotel, great service and view. No beach across the hotel but just a short ride down the street! Very nice pool with a shower and changing rooms.
The room (5th floor) was clean and comfortable with an amazing view of the sunrise over the gulf.

We put together a nine day meeting for the Feast of Tabernacles this year at the Courtyard and we could not have been happier with how the staff (the manager, event planner, kitchen and service staff) helped make the week of meetings run smoothly. We had food each day with three full meals, one on the first and last day as well as one in the middle. The food was wonderful and the staff made sure everything was stocked until everyone was finished. Anyone who wanted to take leftovers with them were given carryout containers and the cleanup was quietly done around forty five to sixty people every day. I want to thank Andrew and Cera for their professional help in getting this planned as well as their staff at both the Courtyard and Town Suites for their efficient and professional service. Would we do it again? Yes! We found this to be a great value and choice of location for this meeting and would definitely recommend it for a small meeting space.

Room Tip: Check out the underground parking at both facilities.
