“Wonderful breakfast and great service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 February 2012

The Huevos Rancheros breakfast plate was amazing! Nice presentation, great flavor, and the salsa was great. The coffee wasn't watered down like most other places and the breakfast tacos should really be called burritos. You don't go away hungry and the wait staff was awesome. Highly recommend!

“Highly recommend!”

Great value. Staff was very attentive, courteous, and the chef mingled among patrons, as time permitted. Would definitely revisit this establishment.

“Great owners, good service, best tea in Texas, wonderful food, clean place, unique spot!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 January 2012

Go in, sit down and enjoy. Best tea we've had anywhere! Their soups are so good, hot and very fresh. My husband claims to be the soup guru of Fredericksburg and he says Mahaley's potato soup has them all beat! They really do have the best burgers around and their bacon-lettuce-tomatoe-avacado is scrumptious. Salads are always very fresh, as is all their foods. Cookies and muffins are bakery-priced, but worth the cost. We go there often because we love the people working there, we see lots of town folks, we visit with the tourists, and just flat enjoy eating at Mahaley's. Bet you will, too. Right now they are building a roof over the outside dining area. They constantly strive to improve --- on what is already really good. Catherine Davis

“Yummy!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 November 2011

This place didn't look like anything special from the outside--we went because it was across the street from the Pacific War Museum. I am glad we did. What we ate (chicken salad sandwich with cilantro and lime) was delicious. Good coffee, too. Worth going to for a casual breakfast or lunch.

“Don't miss the pimiento cheese”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 August 2011

I'm a pimiento-cheese addict, practically; I never pass up a homemade p.c. item on a restaurant menu. The pimiento-cheese sandwiches at Mahaley's were just to die for. Four cheeses blended with a little jalapeno made this menu item terrific. I love Mahaley's. it is just across the National Museum of the War in the Pacific, which we went to Fredericksburg to visit. We took our lunch break and visited Mahaley's. Lots of locals were there on their lunch hour--a good recommendation. The owners have made this (I believe) former gas station into a spectacular dining spot.
