We were staying nearby for a weekend getaway, and this cafe was very close by. We dropped in for a late lunch and were glad we did. My husband loved his old-school burger, and my chicken fried steak was very good--not too thin or gristly, and not a big piece of fried batter with no meat. The fries and onion rings were fresh and hot, and there was real potato in the mashed potatoes. Afterward we picked out some dessert with some help from a friendly staffer, who let us sample several offerings. The baked goods are decadent, rich, and served in huge portions. Be sure and have some before you go!
