Great Hotel, probably I would rate it at the top of my Historic hotel visits, great people, authentic cowboy ambiance. Stayed in the Cattle Baron Suite and I felt like one!!
H3 restaurant excellent place to eat as well (but too easy to overeat)!!Great Bar area decorated in the period with some of the bar stools were saddles!
We will stay there again some time. Across the street is JL Leddys boots and saddle store, take some extra "cash" but great store!

Room Tip: Corner suites are larger, choose east side for quite.

Valet the car. You won’t need it. Then make your way through the parlor to the old fashioned front desk window when you will be efficiently checked in and handed your room key. Not a card. A real key! My room was basic, western appointments with wooden shutters facing Exchange. Small but effective bathroom, snack basket, good WiFi and a terrific ceiling fan. No CNN on the TV but this is FOX News territory so I just laughed to myself. Great western restaurant downstairs and several shops and pubs street side. Consider this hotel if you need a different kind of place for a small team meeting or conference. It’s inexpensive and different.

Exceeded expectations in every way, from front desk, valet service, to the comfortable period-style rooms, and more. Have to admit, I was a bit reluctant to spend the weekend in an historic hotel (was thinking of other experiences in 'historic / old' hotels), the Stockyards Hotel changed that. Every staff person we met was very friendly and more than helpful in every way. Every request was handled as if it was the most important one of the day; no matter how small. A deck of cards? Sure, here y'all go. And clean, clean. We loved it! Will definitely stay here again. Centrally located in the stockyards area with shopping (high end to inexpensive souvenirs), restaurants, museums, historic sites.

Room Tip: Inside rooms are very quiet, and no sun through the windows in the morning to wake you too early.

I am told The Stockyards Hotel building was once a Brothel in The Wild West!
Today the Lobby is beautifully decorated in “Texas Chic”! The bar is worth a trip just to
Sit on a leather saddle bar stool!! The hotel rooms are very comfortable and uniquely
Decorated! It is a trip to stay here right in the middle of This historic and lively part of Fort Worth!
Now THIS is Texas! Dinner at Cattleman’s, drinks at The Stockyards Hotel Bar, and an overnight stay at this hotel!

Room Tip: Choose a room that does not face the Main Street.

Great history and our room had the history of the room written inside. The stockyards is full of saloon’s, wineries and shops! Love the stockyards!
The hotel has a really cute bar and walking distance to Any bar on exchange street. It’s worth the stay.
