We visited the Stockyards March 2018. I would highly recommend the guided tour (worth the cost and they give you TONS of history and general information!) Lots of great restaurants and shops to visit and the cattle drive is great to watch too. Our girsl (5 and 3) loved it!

It was such a wonderful little place to go to. Even though I thought the cattle drive would be a bit longer it was a neat site with so many wonderful shops and places to eat. As well as a cheesy little gun show that is good for a laugh

Absolutely loved this attraction. Travelled back in time. The atmosphere was brilliant. Full of "authentic" saloons etc. touristy but not too much so and all for free! lots of free photo opportunities for all. Loved the cattle parade at 4pm. plenty of reasonable places to eat and lots of touristy shops. took the bus out from Fort worth after traveling on TRE from Dallas. A great day out. Also worth stopping in Fort worthi tself on the way to visit Sundance square and Kennedy memorial

We were staying in Dallas and decided to go to the Stockyards but were a little disappointed. However the Longhorns and the cowboys were interesting. Did not have long enough there.

Went with the family for the day. It was nice strolling down he street and doing a bit of shopping and picking up a pair of cowboy boots.
