Went to pepitos for one of their famous hamburgers and we weren’t disappointed, the fries are real not frozen. Was real good food, go check it out.

We stopped for breakfast while passing through Ft. Stockton. My husband had a burrito which he said was good. I had the home breakfast with ham and crispy hash browns. Everything on the plate was cold and the eggs had a plastic taste. The service was good and friendly but I would not go back.

The waitress were harried but civil, food just ok, salsa is good. Went on a Saturday night at 7:15, place was filling up. I don't like seeing the waitstaff handling food with their bare hands, (the chips) then taking folks money...it doesn't seem right.
I ordered the brisket tacos which were fair. Hubby had the adobo, which was better. Total cost for 2 was $28, not cheap. It included one beer.

Service for breakfast was with a smile but not particularly attentive, and the food was ordinary, if not less. Pancake was enormous and okay. Bacon was okay. They cooked my fried egg okay but under-cooked the potatoes. Overall not a good way to start the day. It took a very long time to serve two people, and they offered butter spread for muffins and toast instead of butter, and plastic containers of half and half for our coffee instead of milk. Sagebrush restaurant across the street was having serious serving delays due to AWOL cook so we walked out and chose Pepito's. Probably was same in the end.

This was a great place to grab some good Mexican food. We had Tacos and Taquitos and they were delicious. We really liked their salsa.
