We got married at the Wildwood Inn in May and had an amazing experience. The outdoor ceremony area is beautiful, and was perfect for our 50 guests. Our day-of coordinator, Tiffany, talked us through everything at our details meeting a couple weeks prior to the wedding and made sure that every moment was planned to a tee. Their caterer (Milestone) customized a completely vegan menu for us. The food was delicious and the guests had a great time! I honestly felt that this venue was so much nicer than other more expensive ones in the area. Could not recommend more highly!

DO NOT BOOK HERE! This place has predatory contracts to which they make exceptions to, based on race. We booked here and had a family circumstance that prevented us from using a certain date. The manager told me we could change it, then the regional manager stated that they NEVER change dates - but later changed it said that they do. The operations director said something different. The stories kept changing because they just wanted to keep our deposit. This place does NOT CARE about your event - just money. They hold you to the contract, but go outside of them to accommodate whom they wish. And I honestly believe it is based on race. If you are not a certain race; they will not accommodate you. They also sell your information to vendor and you get harassed by all these sellers – when you never asked to be contacted by them. This place is ridiculous! They took our money and made a profit by doing absolutely NOTHING - even though they had no other future bookings for the month we needed in 2018. Lauren the regional director is southern bell trash. Unprofessional, cold, and ruthless. BEWARE. Go to another venue that actually cares about their clients. This place is overrated - but I guess that all these reviews are by the "proper" race. I am so disappointed by them. Racism is still alive and well in Texas. Such a sad commentary on where things are...

Hi Angela, I wanted to address your concerns with our venue. First and foremost, our company employs and services clients of all ethnicity, races, culture, sexual orientation, etc. and we absolutely do not discriminate our clients in any way whatsoever. Our staff that had these discussions with you via the phone had never met you in person nor knew your race not that it would ever be a factor for our company or decisions. Our staff never confirmed dates could be changed and we are sorry if you felt misled. Our manager did escalate the issue however our policies clearly state that there are no date changes. As a company, we highly recommend that wedding insurance is purchased to cover when such unexpected circumstances arise. The waiver was signed and declined to not accept the insurance option. We wish you and yours the very best for your future and please if you have other concerns, reach out directly. Thank you. - Wildwood Inn Management

Attended a wedding recently at Wildwood Inn. The Kitchen Manager was rude to the Mother of the Bride and the Baker, as a guest I heard her yelling at them to "get out of her kitchen"!! Oh my, who does that? Then the front end manager was no where to be found during the first 2 hours I was there, everyone seemed to be looking for her and when she did appear, she had a "nasty" attitude. For a place that has two floors and no elevator, did anyone tell these people their venue and services are not free and they should be polite to the people who are writing the check!!! Signed - Very Disappointed in Texas

Room Tip: Beautiful property but there is no elevator, you have to clear two flights of stairs to the top floor!

Thank you so much for your feedback as we are always trying to better ourselves as a company. There was rain on the wedding day therefore our venue coordinator was assisting with set up for an indoor ceremony as opposed to an outdoor ceremony. We have addressed the concerns you mentioned with our Kitchen Manager.

My husband and I faced a low budget wedding anniversary, with limited time off as well. We have been wanting to see this hotel and heard great reviews so we decided to have a two night indulgence, even though it was only 4 miles from our home.

The rooms are all unique, and the bathrooms are pretty amazing. The bathtubs face a see through fireplace, giving a very relaxing zen feeling as you relax in the tub. The tub was a big deal for us - my husband is 6'6" and he loves taking a bath....but we don't have tubs he can stretch out in.

We huddled away for our weekend getaway, free from stress and enjoying the relaxing atmosphere, It's also got a pretty venue for a wedding! I recommend this place to anyone wanting a beautiful and non-traditional hotel option.

We had an amazing experience with the Wildwood Inn! We knew it was “the one” as soon as we got there. The inn is beautiful and has a wonderful charm to it. It had everything we were looking for between my love of art and my husband’s love of historic-looking homes. The backyard was perfect for our garden-style wedding, and it was beautiful during our October ceremony. We wanted a homey small-medium sized wedding, and the Wildwood Inn was the perfect setting for this. We absolutely loved that we had the ability to rent out the entire inn for our wedding and for guests to stay the night. It allowed us to spend more time with our guests and enjoy our time together. Amanda was our coordinator, and she was amazing!! She was always so energetic and willing to work with us to make our day perfect. The entire staff was very responsive and helpful. I had to plan our wedding from out-of-state, and the WWI staff was very accommodating to my many questions, site visits, and coordination efforts. The venue offers preferred vendor recommendations but also allows outside vendors which really allowed flexibility in our planning. The venue also includes a day-of coordinator for vendors, preceremony set up, and help with line-up (not for décor or reception coordination), but this was really helpful for us to have since we opted not to have a wedding planner. Overall our day went perfectly, and we had the best time. Choosing WWI was one of our best decisions, and we would highly recommend this venue!

Room Tip: Corner suites are bigger and quieter
