Great food! The Tikki Masala was amazing! Coconut curry was also great. Great service! The decor in the restaurant was nice. Parking can be a little difficult on a weekend night.

I have only been to Saffron house for the weekday lunch buffet, but have been several times. The food is always fresh, tasty and NOT oily/overly fatty. Plenty of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Seating can be slow, even though it's not usually very busy at lunch, and they take their time delivering fresh Naan to the table, but the food quality overcomes these negatives.

Wonderful food, service, and atmosphere. You can order all the food with varying degrees of spiciness (light, medium, and strong). We had the Saag Paneer, the Chicken Biryani, naan, veggie samosa, and chai. All were delicious. The service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The servers were knowledgeable. They cheerfully and helpfully explained about the menu items.

This used to be an excellent Indian food restaurant when we visited it a few years ago, but this time the food was average to mediocre at best, very limited number of items on buffet (only around 15 main dishes we recall), and NO chocolate fondue or fruit items as they list on their current website that says: 'We also have a scrumptious chocolate fondue with a variety of seasonal fruits.' What a joke, because none of these were offered and the only waiter there said he had not worked there long, but didn't recall them ever having this on their buffet! We were the only two tables with patrons even on a busy Sunday noon lunch and the other patron, when they left, who also happened to be ethnically Indian told me they were disappointed with the current buffet too! When we asked the waiter about the above fondue noted on the website he didn't seem to care that it didn't match the buffet offerings and we were overall so disappointed with this visit that it will likely be a long time before we go there again as there are a number of other Indian restaurants in the Dallas area in our opinion with a much greater variety and quality of
food especially for Sunday buffet offerings.
