Visited this place on a whim. Beautiful atmosphere with rustic interior, and fireplace. Amazing how quickly they moved ppl to tables and got them served. Friendly and helpful staff! We did the buffet. Loved just about everything I had. Great variety of desserts too! I tried the fried catfish, Mac and cheese, salad with berries, and also the cucumber and tomatoes. Did the buttermilk pie, cheesecake bite, pistachio pudding. Everything was wonderful. Staff stayed nearby to answer any questions about the items on the buffet. It is a little pricier, but it’s worth it. The meal was a pleasant surprise.

I had a late lunch at Texas Spice instead of using convention center meals. Texas Spice is in the Omni Hotel ground floor and easily reached using the 2nd floor walkway.

I ordered Grilled Fish Tacos with vegetable slaw, chips, tomato salsa and habanero sauce. This was really good and I would order it again. The habanero is definitely present but not so bad as to turn you off or knock you out.

Fish tacos, pop and tip less than $20. Good find.

Note - slow service..not sure if it is the kitchen or the wait staff...be prepared.

Stopped by for some breakfast before going to the Rock N Roll Health Expo. The restaurant is great. They had choices between doing the Buffett or A La Carte. I went with the menu because I wanted to have the Brisket Hash. Javier was a great and attentive service. Awesome place all around.

We were staying at the Omni for a trade show at the convention center next door. This is THE place to go for one of the best breakfast buffet's I've ever had. You can tell that the food is prepared in house - no frozen stuff - and the warm cinnamon rolls with cream cheese icing are over the top good. Great coffee too and personable service.

We were looking for a meal at the reasonable price and again trip advisor was able to help us find the right spot. The staff was quick to help a seat, and after a little while they brought us the menu for both drinks and something to eat.We went for a local draft beer, which was very good and the fish tacos. The latter were also extremely tasty. The place was crowded but the service was very good with a lot of attention. We would recommend this place without hesitation.
