The Adolphus is a real treasure and my personal favorite hotel any where. Luxurious rooms and incredible suites are available. The "Terrace Suites" include large outdoor terrace areas overlooking the street and include patio furniture.

You can shell peanuts on the floor and have burgers and beer in the Rodeo Bar, have afternoon tea in the "Living Room" or put on a coat and tie and have a great leisurely meal in the French Room.

The staff is top notch and very accommodating top to bottom. If you don't feel at home when you arrive, you will before you leave.

Whenever I stay there, I feel like I'm living in a movie.

What a lovely compliment. Our staff strives to make everyone feel at home, and it is wonderful to know that we succeed in that mission most of the time. As you say, there's a little something for everyone, too - from the Rodeo Bar to The French Room.

The terrace suites are splendid, especially for alfresco dining. The terraces themselves are the largest in the city and lend themselves to New York style cocktail parties, intimate dinners, and just relaxing under the stars.

We are delighted to hear that we are your "favorite hotel anywhere." Rest assured, our staff will reach for the stars to continue to hold that title!

I went for Afternoon Tea at The Adolphus, and it was absolutely lovely. It was hosted in the lobby (which is absolutely gorgeous!), and they had someone playing the grand piano there. The table settings were immaculate, and the tea service was, as expected at The Adolphus, perfect! I plan on returning for the Holiday Tea service as well.

We are delighted that you experienced our afternoon tea while you were with us. It is a tradition that The Adolphus continues with great pride. Some say our afternoon tea is now more British than the British. The highest compliment is to have the honor of serving afternoon tea to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and His Royal Highness Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh - and Mary Poppins, Julie Andrews herself! (You'll be happy to learn they are just as lovely and kind in person as they appear on the world stage.)

We look forward to welcoming you back to The Adolphus for our "O Christmas Tea" in December. Those reservations are taken on October 1. You may want to mark your calendar and save the date. We sell out quickly.

I booked a deal through Travelzoo.com with this hotel which afforded me a $20 credit and a good price on a room. My partner and I live in the Dallas area but wanted to make it a special weekend for a birthday and decided to stay her since we found the deal online. It was easily the most comfortable and enjoyable stay at a hotel I've had. The location is perfect for experiencing everything great about Dallas. The service was friendly and expeditious at all times of the day and night. The bed in the room gigantic and we just melted into it. The pillows was the perfect comfort level and the temperature in the room was ideal. The aesthetics of Hotel Adolphus are luxuriant and exude class. I will stay there whenever visiting Dallas after I relocate to Seattle and recommend it to anyone visiting the Dallas area in the future.

Thank you for writing such a beautiful review. You capture perfectly what we want every guest to experience when they stay with us.

We are so pleased that you "melted" into our new bed linens and pillows. Our managing director Craig Scott personally selected them, after meticulously reviewing all of the choices. He will be delighted that you approve.

It's always a special pleasure to welcome guests who appreciate The Adolphus for what it is and strives to be.

This grand palace reminds one of the days when staying in a hotel was something to look forward to. The atrium lounge is one of the most relaxing places we ever visited. Make time for afternoon tea. Rooms are large and elegant. This is a place you will not want to leave. We've already booked a return weekend.

Room tip: Go for the jr. suite.

What a wonderful description of The Adolphus and its salons! The hotel is, indeed, a "grand palace." We like to think of it as the "People's Palace," since all are welcome to enjoy its splendor and comfort. Guests feel as though they are spending an afternoon in Europe, surrounded by magnificent art. From 16th century tapestries to an 1893 ornately carved Steinway, European treasures lend an elegant, aristocratic air - to be enjoyed by all.

We look forward to welcoming you back to The Adolphus very soon. How kind of you to compliment us in this meaningful way. To want to return immediately says it all!

This hotel has a great location and is truly a steal for the price. It definitely has a vintage 1940's feeling and the rooms are very spacious. If you are looking for the "newest" hotel, you would skip this one but if you like elegance and history...this is for you. The room service at breakfast was one of the best ever and the food was actually hot when it was delivered! Great staff and great overall feel.

Thank you for recognizing the terrific value The Adolphus represents. In these economic times, it is important to provide creative ways to help stretch the dollar.

Our guest rooms are the most spacious in the city, by far. We understand how much this means to people when they are "on the road" and need to have ample space to unpack and relax.

Room service is one of the high points of a stay at The Adolphus. We appreciate your mentioning it - and our outstanding staff.
