So I use this hotel around 10-15 times a year.
I never get greeted as a top tier member of the IHG loyalty scheme,
I'm never offered a room upgrade (subject to availability as per the terms and conditions of the scheme).
So this last trip, no upgrade offered due to high hotel occupancy, then the following morning no buffet breakfast available due to low hotel occupancy. I will let you all draw your own conclusions about that standard of business practice.
As mentioned in previous postings, the rooms are getting a little tired now. There is still a big problem with the elevators. When they arrive at lobby level they hang for around 30 seconds before the doors open.I'm sure the staff are aware of it as they use the elevators as well.
As always its the small negatives that make us forget about the bigger positives.More
