Magnificent place. The decor is unimaginable. Mr. Louboutin’s creation is one of a kind. Incredible staff. The chef is brilliant and very talented. Had the time of my life! Definitely recommend this beautiful and unique hotel. I will be coming back.

This hotel has the kindest most attentive staff of any hotel I've ever stayed at. Never did they give a pretentious air but always cared for our every need and desire. The decor and architecture lures you in and helps to relax your mind transitioning you from the mundane to the fantastical. This state of mind is enhanced by the cocktails served at the bar and the gourmet food served in the restaurant. Each night I looked forward to taking a bath in our grand red tiled tub using the wonderfully scented bath products. My husband and I slept with ease in the soft bed. We woke early, went horse back riding and then explored hidden beaches mapped out for us by the hotel staff. I was sad to leave and hope to return soon.

Wow! My wife and I spent three days at the Vermelho as part of our honeymoon in Portugal. This was the last leg of our trip and without a doubt the best. Not only is the hotel spectacular, the staff is very friendly. The hotel went out of their way each day to make our day and night that much better than the last and we could not be more impressed. The hotel is immaculate and truly one of a kind. Perfectly located between 10+ beaches within a short drive. We were there in July which is peak tourist season in Portugal and all the beaches were far less crowded than what you see just outside of Lisbon, Algarve or in the US (where we are from). The breakfast was amazing and we ate dinner a few nights at the Xtian hotel restaurant which was equally as great. The pool is very relaxing and a great way to spend time. We will be coming back!
