Wow! My wife and I spent three days at the Vermelho as part of our honeymoon in Portugal. This was the last leg of our trip and without a doubt the best. Not only is the hotel spectacular, the staff is very friendly. The hotel went out of their way each day to make our day and night that much better than the last and we could not be more impressed. The hotel is immaculate and truly one of a kind. Perfectly located between 10+ beaches within a short drive. We were there in July which is peak tourist season in Portugal and all the beaches were far less crowded than what you see just outside of Lisbon, Algarve or in the US (where we are from). The breakfast was amazing and we ate dinner a few nights at the Xtian hotel restaurant which was equally as great. The pool is very relaxing and a great way to spend time. We will be coming back!

Unbelievable. Incredible. Impeccable. Vemelho Melides is the definition of beauty, design, and service. I stayed here for 2 nights to celebrate my wife's birthday, and we loved every second of being on property. The town of Melides is very small but quaint and has a few things to do, and the beach nearby is a short and lovely drive and worth spending an afternoon at. Can't recommend this property enough, we will be dreaming about it for years to come, bravo VM team!
