This is in response to Blowjo's review on the Courts in Canadian. Yes, this may be true much of how ran down it is. Sad as it is there are two other options in that town. And by far I would have to say IT IS 100% better than the other 2!!! VERY SAD VERY SAD town to have to spend any night. BUT WOULD TAKE IT OR MY VEHICLE BEFORE THE OTHER 2 ANYDAY!!!!

Stayed: August 2007

arrived in canadian , tx late.

first motel we came to was Canadian Courts Motel.
Looks kinda regal on the outside. It is a decent $30-$40 motel. However wife checked us in so she payed $83.00. Not a car in the lot. This place defied the law of supply and demand.

21" TV
stained carpet
ordinary house door lock. not self locking. loose and unsecure.
no deadbolt.
A/C unit was window style unit located 6" from bed at floor level. I imagine you would freeze in the winter and cook in the summer.
Knobs were missing so it was hard to operate any way.

TV was blasting away as extremely indifferent receptionist checked wife in.

Like a said a good $30-$40 room in small town market. Probaby should rent for about $25-$35 in Canadian, Tx, not $83.

The Canadian Court Motel makes it is hard on every other mom and pop motel by giving poor value for money, forcing customer to return to the reliability of chain motels.

in that sense the Canadian Court Motel does double damage.
