Absolutely wonderful! The cabin was very private, with a great view of the Smokies. Very close to downtown Gatlinburg but private enough to get away from it all! Cabin was very clean, hot tub worked, comfortable bedding and of course the deck was the best part. In our reservation papers we were recommended to bring along certain items like salt/pepper and dish soap etc, but everything was already in the cabin! I highly recommend this cabin to other couples for their honeymoon or vacation. This cabin will always be in memory because i actually had gotten engaged to my fiance on the deck overlooking the view! The only things we noticed that were close to complaints were the average carpenter bees outside and occasional spider. But those are to be expected in the spring time and being in the Smokies.

Overall I would definitly want to rent this cabin again!
Thanks Randy!

We stayed in WOW over the weekend. I loved the way it was set up and it was perfect for two! The view was amazing although you have to work to get up that hill but it pays off! Loved the stone shower and the swing out on the porch. This cabin in is the Walden's Creek area. It is about a 10 minute drive to Pigeon Forge and the Island. Cabin was well stocked and the new appliances and granite counter tops were beautiful. The only thing was the jacuzzi tub. It was not very clean, we turned it on and stuff was floating all in the water. This could of just been it hadn't been used in a while. Also, found a baby scorpion in the tub the next day. Adventures of staying in the woods! Go slow going up the mountain as the gravel part of the drive way is very "lumpy". We still had a great time and would recommend this cabin and Timberwinds.

Great loaction, easy acess to the Parkway. 3 bedrooms, 3 baths, 2 large decks. Beautiful cabin. Only one complaint, the pull out sofa on the lower level really needs to be replaced, springs coming thru the mattress, hump in the middle, unsleepable! Good thing we brought an air mattress! Cabin was very clean. Nice neighborhood, quiet! 2 kids that were 3 years old did really great here. Nice projector screen down stairs, pool table, and hot tub! Gas grill on main deck with plently of seating. Will reccomend to others!

We rented the Heaven's Gate cabin and it was terrible. Called to inform we had 2 toddlers to be sure the cabin would work and no mention if only narrow spiral stairs inside or the fact that one of the "bedrooms" is actually a loft with no door. Large bugs everywhere and lights that did not work. We spent the 4 nights rented walking up and down the outside steps with the babies because the spirals were too narrow for even my purse. All luggage had to be taken outside as well. Ended up sleeping on the floor on the 1st floor with the babies because of the set up.

Beautiful!....My boyfriend and I decided on a last minute getaway for my 25th birthday and I couldn't have been more pleased! We stayed in the cutest studio style cabin perfect for just the two of us! It was cozy and romantic. The hot tub was great and the propane fireplace took the hassle out of looking for wood. One thing I would definitely recommend is stopping to get food before you get in, especially if you're looking to stay in for the night as it gets very dark, but if you forget, then the grocery store is only a few miles up the road. The area has a small town feel with local restaurants and few other places (subway, pizzahut-they don't deliver) so there isn't much around, which truly reflects the sense of "escape". If you are looking for a more touristy type of stay then Townsend is not the place for you, BUT if you are looking to enjoy the beauty and majestic nature of the cabin vacation then Townsend is perfect. I loved it and I can't wait to go back! I'm already planning my next trip there!
Oh and one last thing....Randy and Dawn Jenkins....beautiful people, very helpful and very easygoing...for anything that you may need, they are only a phone call away. Every step of the rental process was hassle free and the prices are great!
