My friends and I stopped at Signal Point to have a nice little picnic. We were really the only ones in the park and the view overlooking the gorge was beautiful. We even got a small history lesson and have started sending each other messages using the code.

Great hiking place for all ages. Interesting trails with stairs and fencing to hold on to. We never made it down to the river, but had a picnic on a rock with a view.

Worth the effort descending the mouse trap for a fun 20min hike to a beautiful panoramic view of the gorge. Worth another 45 mins to the suspension bridge near rainbow falls - you will feel like you are in Endor! Suitable for hearty hikers with sturdy shoes!

Easy to get to by car. Short 40 yard walk to the point. You can also hop on the Cumberland Trail from here!

We sat at the picnic table during a rain shower, and even with the overcast sky, the view is still beautiful. Worth the trip.
