It's old, tired, run down. The non-smoking rooms have been smoked in, in the past and the carpets and furniture smell like it. Holes in the sheets, holes in the bedspread. The furniture (desk and chairs) was on the verge of collapse at any moment. Every time you moved a desk chair, you knocked the plug out of the wall and the tv, fridge, and microwave went off. It's old, tired, run down--have I said that already? Pool is tiny. Tiny. Tiny.
On the positive side, it was relatively clean. Relatively. I hate trying new hotels in this area. So many were thrown up when the World's Fair was in Knoxville ('82 I believe) and unfortunately, many have survived. No, I won't stay here again!More
