“Great apt and location!”
Reviewed 30 March 2016 for a stay in March 2016

The rooms were perfect and had everything we needed for our stay. Not to mention we were super close to everything but we couldn't hear any noise at night. We will absolutely stay again!

“Nice place with a great location”
Reviewed 30 March 2016 for a stay in March 2016

We traveled with two teenagers to Nashville and the location of the Cumberland is great for walking to many downtown activities such as the Country Music Hall of Fame, Bridgestone Arena, the Musicians Hall of Fame, and Broadway. There is a lot of construction going on in Nashville right now including around the Cumberland but it was not a huge nuisance with just one sidewalk closed at the time we were there.
The building is nice and the condo was nicely decorated. All of the rooms were very clean and my only complaint with regard to cleanliness was that the smell of the cleaning solution never really disapated unless it was an air freshener somewhere in the room that we did not see. But the place was spotless so I really can't complain. There were a few minor maintenance issues such as loose towel bars, the DVD player did not work, and one of the keys did not work. Also, the toilets are pretty dated (small, round seat, some water damage to the seat) compared to the rest of the style and appearance of the condo which has a very sleek, modern, urban feel. But none of this impacted our stay and the staff at Stay Alfred was responsive to the maintenance and key problems.
The kitchen is nice and has everything you need to cook a meal. The air conditioning/fan is a bit loud when it is running and the dishwasher is very loud: wait until you are ready to go out and then start the dishwasher!
Parking is very convenient if you opt for the parking pass. It is directly under the building and an elevator will take you from the parking levels to your unit level which is very nice. And if you have a car this is a very inexpensive option for parking compared to downtown Nashville parking. But if you do choose to park consider getting a smaller car. We rented a Hyundai Santa Fe and I am glad we were not talked into the larger SUV at the airport. There are some folks that managed to park large SUVs in the garage so it is doable but there is not a lot of space to manuever in the garage and if you don't need the space in a big vehicle you will appreciate a smaller vehicle in the garage.
Overall this was a really nice stay. We travel a lot and rent houses rather than stay in hotels. This was our first experience with Stay Alfred and we would definitely use them again and stay at the Cumberland again if we return to Nashville.

“Nice Hotel Alternative”
Reviewed 22 March 2016 for a stay in March 2016

Overall a good stay. A 2BR, 2BA apartment on the edge of the district was a nice find. The kitchen was well supplied with dishes, glass wear and pans (good for breakfast). A couple of more bath towels would have been welcomed. At times, the neighborhood appeared dicey. Parking fee of $23/day was pricey for af our night stay.

“It was the perfect venue to catch up with old friends.”
Reviewed 15 March 2016 for a stay in March 2016

The apartment was lovely and well equipped. It is close to the downtown attractions and easy to walk to. Felt safe walking in the neighborhood. Amenities were great with the outdoor space and lounge area. Really enjoyed our stay.

“Weekend stay in Nashville with family”
Reviewed 12 March 2016 for a stay in March 2016

I rented the condo for a family weekend trip to Nashville. The location and accommodations at the Cumberland were excellent. The 5 of us had plenty of room and it was significantly better than getting a couple of hotel rooms.
The most important factor to me was the location, as we wanted to be able to easily walk back and forth from the downtown area, particularly after a late night at the honky-tonks.

Liked best: Location and property set-up for 5 people
Liked least: This is a little nit-picky, but we all noticed that the hallways all had a strong chemical smell that was not very pleasant. Thankfully, if the smell had been in the unit I would not have stayed
