Our endeavor is to offer a nice stay to all our guests but failed this time.
Actions shall be taken to improve everything on war foot and you can have a good stay next time.

The location is good, less than 10 min driving from downtown. The hotel is old but it's okay for the price they charge, it's worth it.

The young man that checked us in was very nice. I had no problem with the people who run it. The facility was horrible. The bathroom ceiling had so much black mold it was falling in. There was poop on the bathroom wall, blood on the door. The moldy smell was horrible. The area is not a safe atmosphere for children. We were only there because our son was having surgery at Vanderbilt the next morning. We grabbed a shower and went and slept in our car in the Vanderbilt parking garage. The hotel across the street had people out all hours of the night, the people staying at our place were so loud my son who has a bilateral hearring loss couldn’t sleep. There was actually prostitutes out. I was so saddened that I spent what little money we had for my son to get a good nights rest.

While an apology will regrettably not alter the outcome of your experience on this occasion, we do extend it with all sincerity. We certainly empathize regarding the points you mention in your review you experienced. We will look into each issue that you have noted in an attempt to correct and improve our hotel.
We had stains on the sheets upon arrival which were changed when asked. Shower was dirty and someones used soap was still in the shower. Maid entered room without knocking while we were in the room. I get this is not a 5 star place but I do expect some quality assurance and privacy at any price.
