All the feel of a British pub but with a family focus, there is even a new kids area outside with climbing areas and sandpit. The meals are large and tasty with the traditional style meats and some vegetarian options other than just salads.

It's just like an English pub - the atmosphere and food. Really nice design and the meal portions are so huge we could not finish as nice as the meal was. The pumpkin soup was good too.

We were recommended to this tavern by our local bed and breakfast hosts as one of the places to try during our 4 night stay. It was our pleasure to find a good old honest tavern establishment, with bright, cheerful, and helpful staff. Little simple things like prompt bottle of chilled water, explanation and knowledge of menu selections, prompt meal serving after orders, follow up checks by staff, and the size and quality of our meals was excellent value for money. With such lovely main course meals, its hard to leave room for deserts, but please do have deserts as they are also special and well worth it.
Overall a very pleasant evening meal.

A wonderful pub. A small but good menu of excellent pub food and big serves. Thirteen beers and two ciders on tap. A good selection of wines. Two open fireplaces. Terrific floor-to-ceiling bric-a-brac. Great atmosphere. Friendly staff.

Look every time we go there they seemed to have crammed in another table to met demand, which sort of leaves you feeling like having lunch in a sardine tin (so to speak).

The food is good and the beer is great, so book ahead and be prepared to be little close and to make friends with the table next to you....not a romantic table for two environment sorry!-)
