After riding the rail trail from Bright to Myrtleford I was looking for somewhere to have a light lunch.
Saw Ruby’s on the roundabout with plenty of outside seating so in I went .
Friendly staff. Had a lovely streak and onion pie washed down with a refreshing strawberry milk shake .
The pie was a bit different with big hunks of steak in it.
Filled the gap and sitting outside was nice , could keep your eye on the wheels .
It was quite busy there .

Great food and friendly owners, the meals are typically country oriented and good value and very tasty. We ordered coffee to go with our takeaway and that too was very smooth bodied and not too strong.

Great sot for a coffee and a snack in Myrtleford. Coffee was of a high quality. Was did not eat it was obviously very popular with the locals

Travelled from Beechworth and looking for a coffee at about 10am. On inspecting the bread baked on site and the freshly prepared breakfast rolls and muffins we decided to try them and they were as good as they looked. Better than anything we had at Beechworth. Highly recommended!

Ruby’s café is off the main street, but is well worth the extra 40 metre walk to get there. The staff are fantastic – quick and customer focused.
A group of us had coffee, cool drinks, pies, cakes and fish and chips. I had the seafood basket and it was delicious - freshly cooked, including the chips - always a must for me. Although it says take-away, there are some table and chairs outside and these are a great place to people-watch while having the excellent tucker.
There is really no other place in Mytleford that comes close to Ruby’s.
