We visited Cafe Chakra twice whilst staying in Myrtleford. Both times the coffee was outstanding. The owner is also the barista and takes his coffee seriously. He blends and grinds it on site. Cakes are delicious and service outstanding. In this day of average service its wonderful to feel spoilt for a change.

I’ve eaten here half a dozen times and the coffee, food and service is so good. The curries make it hard to choose other menu items but I force myself to and I’m not disappointed. Add the homemade lime pickle and bam, you’re transported away. If cappuccino is your thing then take the time to taste the chocolate on top - can’t compare to standard powder. Cakes and slices- covered, try the chocolate beetroot cake for something so moist. Quiet or busy, the owners will always take the time to say hello. And they roast their beans onsite!

We had visited 2 years ago (on the recommendation of a very good waiter in Beechworth) as to where we could get great coffee........ he said he drove to Myrtleford for his daily fix! We revisited a few weeks ago and were once again blown away. The owners are a fantastic couple, Leonie is a great chef/cook, (the kedgeree was outstanding), and Vince is passionate about coffee, choosing and roasting the beans to make a perfect cup.

During our stay in Bright we managed to visit Coffee Chakra three times.
I particularly enjoyed the Grilled Veg toastie and the Tandoori Chicken Bun. Good quality local breads used and delicious fillings.
Cakes and Tarts are yummy.
Staff are friendly and obliging and with great coffee, what else could you want.
The cafe closes on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Came here on a recommendation and so glad we did, it was delicious.
I had the Spicy Chicken Burger $16 and it was a great combinations of flavours and came with a yummy side salad. Menu is limited but offers options for a variety of dietary requirements
I will be back for one of their house made cakes- they looked yum
