“Very comfortable in a superb setting.”
Reviewed 14 January 2017 for a stay in December 2016

The journey off the bitumen proves really worthwhile when you arrive at Black Horse Park in its idyllic rural setting. The grounds are beautifully maintained and the various garden seats and swinging chairs add to the pleasure. Rob is an affable and very helpful host and Pin Oak Chapel has all the facilities necessary for your stay, with a distinctly Gallic flavour. The only potential drawback is that if your party is anywhere near the 10 maximum advertised you may struggle with the single bathroom although there is an additional lavatory. There is one double bedroom. All the other sleeping arrangements are in the single large upstairs room with a curtain as a divider.
We thoroughly enjoyed our five night stay here and the space around the Chapel within which children can race about is invaluable. The location is great for Mt Buller and Lake Eildon and we would strongly recommend a visit to the delightfully sited and nearby Delatite Winery and the former mining settlement of Jamieson.
