The walks are well signposted and for the most part very level. The walk we enjoyed the most was the lake side walk. It is about 6 kilometre each way but easy going and very tranquil.

Most clifftop walks are exposed to sun & wind - but this one is surprisingly sheltered which was a nice change. We did the 5.5km one way stretch from Betka beach to Pebbly beach and back again - an easy and enjoyable walk, highly recommend

Such a lovely place. We saw an incredible amount of wildlife. Koalas, kookaburras, massive Goannas. Beautiful beaches and waterways.

We have just spent a week in Mallacoota. As the fishing turned out to be pretty useless we spent much of our time doing various coastal walks around Mallacoota.
The drove down to Shipweck Creek and along the way did sections of the coastal walk as well as walking down to each of the beaches. Loved the views over Betka Beach and Secret and Quarry Beach. Would have loved to have left one car at one end and do the entire coast walk but that is a bit hard when you are by yourselves.
We also did the coastal walk through the rainforest in the middle of town. It starts in the caravan park and goes out to Bastion Point. We were lucky enough to witness a Lyrebird in action, singing out so many different bird calls. It was fantastic!

Lovely for the family with lagoon for the toddlers. As the Nanna I didn’t venture far from base, but family explored lagoon and beach. From one of the beaches there was a viewing platform a little way on the track, where I saw my first whale.
