Helen and Sam are the most wonderful host's I've ever encountered. The room was so comfy for my daughter and I. The food in the restaurant is to die for the Chef is outstanding. We will be back for sure

Review of Sanctuary House Resort Motel

Excellent service, food and ammenities! I only had the pleasure of staying one night, but the attitude I was greeted with was very welcoming and kind. The food was exceptionally prepared with love and care and honestly spoke to my soul with each and every bite. The accomodation itself it’s great for the price and location, the only complaint I’d be able to provide whatsoever would be that the shower (as you’d expect anyway) was very fiddly. But, as I mentioned, what can you expect!

Very friendly and comfortable venue. Hosts are customer focused and obliging with nice environment and facilities. Excellent location for local attractions.
Would recommend for all wishing to stay in the area.

Sam and Helen (hosts) where fantastic! Such lovely and warm people who made our stay more like a family visit then it was at a motel. Entertained our little one too! Loved their beautiful motel. Rooms were probably recently refurbished with comfy beds, nice hot shower and lovely clean sheets. Really liked how clean and well maintained the rooms were. Had a nice dinner at the on-site restaurant too and were so surprised at the HUGE meal portions that were served! Food was alright, presentation was awesome! Felt really at home there and will most definitely visit again. Thank you from Cheryl and family :)

We stayed around the corner from here and went for dinner at the restaurant. Exceptional service. Meals were delicious, not too expensive and large portions.
Would recommend it for a quiet, enjoyable meal and a good glass of wine.

The room was comfortable and clean. Furnishings are a bit dated but still ideal for an overnight stay. The restaurant would survive as a stand alone business. Plenty of locally sourced produce including beverages cooked and presented well.
