We loved our stay at Gisborne Peaks winery and cottages! My husband and I were looking for somewhere to escape the city during the Australia Day weekend - with romantic views, great wine, native flora, walks, and all the trimmings. The cottages at Gisborne Peak were perfect. I only wish I’d taken more photos of the accommodation but we were busy enjoying the vineyard and surrounds.

Our cottage was thoughtfully fitted out with everything - from music on arrival, to recommended walks, fresh milk, bacon and eggs for breakfast that we cook could on our own terrace bbq overlooking the vines. We didn’t want to leave. The sunsets over the property were very special, the hosts thought of everything and cottage was spotless. Nice linen also. Cannot wait to return - this is a lovely place.

Hello Jessica

Thank you for such a glowing review! The best compliment is to read that you didn't want to leave. We are so glad that you enjoyed your stay and that you hope to come back.

We pass on all of our reviews to our staff so they can also 'glow' in the words. Our cleaning staff take great pride in a job well done and the presentation of the cottages reflect this.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review.

Our 30th wedding anniversary was a wonderful experience by our hosts Barbara and Bob. Eco cabin was fabulous with breakfast included. Great place to explore the region. Wood fire pizzas and wine overlooking the lake. Memories forever.

We had a relaxing stay, breakfast was good, lunch at the cafe was nice and the wine went down a treat. Cabin was clean and quiet, we stayed two nights and was surprised that we survived with no mobile service or wifi, thought we would watch one of the DVD's supplied but was unable to find something to put it in perhaps the tv was recently replaced with no DVD player attached??

Hello Jenny
Thank you for your great review. It is amazing that there are still a few 'black holes' for telephone reception and try as we might, we cannot get a tower near us! But, there is reception at the winery cellar door, just not the cottages. Glad you survived. The DVD player is inbuilt into the TV, in the back, although we have had to replace one of them recently and that was in Manna Gum. It is getting a new TV this week, so I'm sorry if that was your cottage.

We hope you can visit us another time.

We spent the week in Melbourne and on the Mornington Peninsula; this was a step up and thoroughly unexpected - The rooms were awesome and quaint at the same time - The view and the ambience was without peer.
The staff could not be more helpful - it probably pays to be polite.
We will definately be back

Room tip: There are only four cabins take your pick they are all pretty good..

Hello Trent.

Thank you for the 5-star review! We appreciate the fact that you took the time to write it.

It’s pretty hard to not enjoy the view over the vineyards. We do share our reviews with our staff because it is the staff that makes the place!

We hope to see you again.

We spent a lovely night at one of the Eco cottages. They are well appointed and exceptionally clean.
The birdlife was wonderful and we sat on our deck and drank some of the lovely wine from the winery in the late afternoon. We caan highly recommend the Pinot Noir.
We had a delicious and relaxing lunch in the restaurant and the staff were brilliant.
I left my make up purse behind and Barbara was very kind to post it back to me within a few days - great customer service. Joy H
