We were extremely well looked after by all staff who were very friendly. Our room was no 3 although on the end of the building near the road was very quiet. Menu choice is not extensive on the whole food very good, we had a couple of issues with meals but it was dealt with in a positive way.
Would definitely stay again. Loved the little extras including fresh milk

I was traveling across the country by car and had not booked a room anywhere so had no idea where we were staying that night. Using late rooms we came across the Bourne Valley Inn. We arrived to an unreadable reception. The front desk were polite and helpful. First impressions were very good. We were shown up to an immaculate room, bed and ensuite shower room. We booked a slot for an evening meal in a busy bar and sat down to an amazing meal. Could not fault the quality or quantity of food. With a mix of real ales and wines we relaxed with a quick drink before heading upstairs to read in the comfort of our room, the soft comfy bed and quietness outside aided in a good night's sleep before moving on to our final destination. The inn is off the beacon track but that just adds to its beauty and great location. Just perfect Perfect. And breakfast. Omg what a way to start the day, with every choice you could have considered. Will defiantly use this place again.

We stayed here last night so we could visit the Bombay Gin Distillery and we had the most wonderful stay imaginable!!! The pub is so gorgeous, the food was exquisite and the staff were utterly brilliant!!! There aren’t enough words to describe the standards of this place and we will most definitely be visiting again soon!

The B & B was first class, friendly and helpful staff. A great menu and beautiful food served in a old fashioned pub with log fire.
The staff could not do enough for you to make our stay lovely. We visited the Bombay Gin distillery for a cocktail masterclass, well worth the trip.
A lovely leisurely breakfast on the Sunday finished off a perfect weekend. We will be back!

Looking for something different to do for New Year's Eve, after a Christmas trip to Devon, we stopped off en route home to East Sussex and were not disappointed.
The staff were welcoming and friendly, the room was spacious, tastefully decorated including a massive, comfortable bed.
Our evening include absolutely delicious canapes and a dance in the barn to 90s music.
On waking there was no rush for breakfast which was served until 10.30am which is a daily standard.
The breakfast was beautifully served using good ingredients and plenty of it. Considering how late everyone went to bed the staff were cheerful and up beat!
The absolute advantage of this old coaching inn is being dog friendly.
A visit is highly recommended.
