Except they didn't let us know so banging away in the roof on the walls as a team of plumbers painters tilers and carpenters did their work. Looked somewhat pained when we asked for a different room...other than that a basic motel that will no doubt be improved by the current renovations.
Thank you for your review. We have not had any renovations occurring here 4 weeks ago. They were all completed in early December.
Took advantage of an online offer. Arrived to find the room only had a double bed, which sagged enough for me to feel the spring and feel as though i was almost touching the floor. thought these had disappeared. Upon asking if there were any other options,was told yes but it would be an extra $70!
Although clean, there was no iron, the chairs were barely holding up,the plastic furniture out the front needs replacing urgently.
We were kept awake by the rowdy noise fro the next room, in fact they still had their tv blaring round 3am.
We are sorry that you were not happy with the accommodation chosen. We only had family rooms available to offer at that time thus the increased cost offered.
Irons are available at reception as previous guests have burnt carpets when they are left in the rooms. All furniture had been recently checked and recovered.
Our room was off the side street that was located on a no thru road with little traffic .Room was very clean and tidy having been recently renovated and the bed was small but comfortable and the full kitchen came in handy saving having to go out for all meals.
Got the Standard Double $89 per night. Shower couldnt be adjusted running too hot and then cold. Rubbish was left in bin from last person. Dark gloomy room. Room had old reverse cycle air conditioner , microwave and small fridge , tea and coffee making facilities. Did us as only there overnight. Asked for late check out and told you have to pay another night, however gave us an extra hr to vacate. A hand towel would have been nice. Bonus was free wifi
I had four adults staying in a family room and it was great.
Beds were comfortable, room was very tidy & cleaned daily. There was a beautiful pool however it was too cold to use it!
Excellent value for money.
Would happily stay here again.
