The accommodation is lovely with plenty of room and a great kitchen, the hostess Janet is so lovely and takes everyone out to feed all the animals every morning. Great for the kids to see a working farm and meet all the lovely animals. The adults had a lovely time as well chilling round the fire with guitars and mulled wine. There are dogs, emus, kangaroos, wallabies, lambs, ducks, geese, cockatoos, corellas, donkeys, quails, guinea pigs and a great big pig called Pablo. Highly recommend unless your don't like animals.

We came as a post HSC road trip and absolutely fell in love with the farm. We were initially met by 3 of the most attention seeking and friendliest dogs who were happy to join us and show us the deer, emus, chickens, ducks, Sam the cockatoo, guinea pigs, Pablo the pig and everyone else. Janet, our lovely host, took us outside to be met by a group of kangaroos waiting to be fed dinner and watching Rose the joey hopping down the hallway was something I'll never forget! Could not recommend staying here highly enough! The rooms and area we were given were spacious, clean, tidy and very home-y.

Stayed at Tinakori for two nights. The cleanliness of the accommodation is a slight drawback, but that's not from a child's perspective - you have to remember that this is a working farm. Our grandchildren were thrilled to touch and feed kangaoos, guinea pigs, and lots of ducks and geese. In fact we counted and cane up with a total of 22 animals/birds seen over the weekend. There was a friendly pig whose bristles were so hard! Musn't forget the cockatoo, peacocks, emus, deer, kookaburra. A great time was had at this most peaceful setting.

We stayed four nights at Tinakori and the only draw back was the cleanliness.

We used two rooms of the farmhouse and found it well equipped. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space inside. Two bathrooms were handy for the family. The kitchen was very well equipped.

Janet called the children every morning and evening for the animal feeding time and they loved it - ducks, geese, chickens, guinea pigs, cockatoos, peacocks, sheep, kangaroos, emus, deer and an enormous friendly pig. Almost a zoo! The children were free to roam and play with the dogs any time. There was a trampoline, totem tennis and plenty of bikes to ride. After busy days touring around, it was great to come back to a space where the kids could run free and relax.

A lovely setting, looking out on the little lake and so many birds. It's nothing fancy (and a good clean would be helpful) but it was just right for us.
